Review: BornPrettyStore Star Nail Studs + Galaxy mani!

Hey all!

Another first on this blog, a galaxy mani! I am so behind the times but oh well I finally had a good reason to do one, and that is to use these lovely 450Pcs 2mm Mini Five-pointed Star Shaped Stud Rhinestone Nail Art Decoration from BornPretty Store. Be sure to use my code of NWX31 for 10% off your order!

The stars came in gold and silver, but I chose to only use the silver ones for this mani. They are a good size at 2mm that they fit onto the nail comfortably and have a very low profile so they don't get caught on anything, they are also very easy to apply top coat over. Do like :D

For the galaxy I used Ulta 3 Black Satin as a base then sponged random bits with Ulta3 Lily White, I followed that with sponging on Illamasqua Phallic, Vice, Stance and Marquise, dotted on the white stars with Lily White, layered a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust, put on the star studs then top coated everything using Poshe quick dry TC.

Ta da! I loved this mani, really did not want to take it off. I was very surprised at how simple galaxy nails are, I always had it in my head that they where super difficult, I totally want to do more now :D
