Review: BornPrettyStore Holographic Nail Art glitter + video tutorial!

Hey all!

I have something for you that I am really excited about! I did my first ever glitter placement mani, I must be crazy! Surprisingly it didn't take me quite as long as I thought it would have done and the final result was completely worth the time spent doing it.

Thanks to BornPrettyStore for sponsoring the holo nail art glitter, they can be found here 1pc Nail Art Glitter Hexagon Round Rhinestone Noble Sheet Nail Decoration. Be sure to use my code of NWX31 for 10% off your order!

These glitter pieces where really easy to use, they are nice and small so they fit on the nail easily and they are thin enough that they don't cause to much bulk, or the glitter to stick up off the nail and get caught. The smooth out easily with top coat.

I first laid down a silver base of OPI Push and Shove, and then starting at the bottom of the nail using regular clear polish to stick them to my nail, placed the holo glitter in an overlapping pattern to achieve the scaled look. I finished off the look by applying a coat of Essence gel-look top coat to smooth the glitter and then a final layer of Poshe quick dry to finish it all off. Unfortunately bubbles are inevitable with this kind of design, but in real life they are hardly noticeable, it's definitely a thing that the photos enhance.

I have also mad a video tutorial of this look! I will be trying to make more tutorials as time goes along so be sure to subscribe to my youtube page! Click to image below to go to the video.
