Today is the first time I'm featuring Sayuri Nail Lacquer on my blog! Anthea was kind enough to let me pick a couple of polishes from her range for review, so I chose Psychadelia and Candied Visions.
First off, a little about Sayuri.
Sayuri polishes are available directly through her website or internationally through Mei Mei's Signatures.Sayuri Nail Lacquer is an independent Australian company specialising in hand mixed nail polish. Developed by chief designer Anthea Cosentino, Sayuri was launched in March 2013 from a desire to combine her design qualification with her passion for nail polish. Anthea's design aesthetic is often described as 'quirky', and her inspirations are consistently wild and whimsical. 'Normal' is not something that we aspire to!All of our products are 3-free (Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP Free), and are lovingly made using quality ingredients.
A large majority of our products are designed for layering. This means that our polishes are highly versatile, and the final look of the polish is very much up to the user. Build them up on their own in 2-3 coats, or layer them over your favourite plain polish for a completely different effect.
Now onto the good stuff!
Candied Visions is a mint green creme polish with a subtle linear holographic effect. I used 3 coats and 1 coat Poshe. Very soft and pretty.
Here we have Psychadelia, this one really surprised me! By the macro it doesn't look like much, but on the nail, holy wow! This polish is a multichrome purple flake in a tinted black base and is oh so rich! I chose to layer it over a purple base which enhanced the purple. I layered 2 coats over 1 coat Kleancolor IT Purple, which is amazing in it's own right!
I loved both polishes from Sayuri, be sure to head over to her website to get your own!
