Illamasqua Hemlock

Today I have a purchase to show you that was rather well timed!

At the end of June I saw that my local Illamasqua counter finally had Hemlock back in stock so I promptly asked them to hold one for me and I rushed to pick it up! I have been coveting Hemlock for some time, but could only find it online and after the Royal Mail change I could not get it shipped. It was well timed because Hemlock has been released as one of the nail polish shades for the new The Sacred Hour collection along with 1 new shade Facet, that I am dying to get my hands on.

Hemlock is a very pretty pale nude with an opalescent green glow that also glows orange at extreme angles. Very hard to capture on camera, but I assure you, it's there! This is so soft and delicate, I have found myself wearing it quite a lot recently.

It requires 3 easy coats to reach opacity on my natural nails, however if you have quite white free edge tips or acrylics (like in the photos), using a nude creme underneath is advised. These photos show 2 coats Essence Cotton Candy and 2 coats Hemlock with 1 coat Poshe.
