Lilypad Lacquer True Blood and Sparkling Embers

Hi all!

Today I have something pretty exciting to show you, it's the launch of a brand new Aussie indie label, Lilypad Lacquer that went on sale today! Lilypad Lacquer is run by the awesome Nicole and is based out of Byron Bay, Australia. Her first collection 'Colour My World' contains of a whopping 31 shades mainly consisting of some of the most unique holographic polish colours currently available, as well as a few duochromes. I have 1 holo, True Blood and 1 duochome, Sparkling Embers to show you in this post.

First up, Sparkling Embers. This is a gorgeous maroon red/purple to firey gold, it really does look like embers. I particularly like this polish because it is opaque in 2 coats! Most other duos are sheer and need to be layered over a dark base, but with this, no need!

The following photos are 2 coats Sparkling Embers with 1 coat Poshe top coat. Check out the gorgeous colour shift in the last photo, and look at the macro! Yummm.

Next up, True Blood. If you've read my blog for a while you know I'm a sucker for holo polishes, particularly purple holos. True Blood is a deep red/burgundy/purple that is meant to resemble blood. Love it!

Again, this is another perfect 2 coat polish. Following pics are 2 coats True Blood and 1 coat Poshe top coat. The full sun photo at the end pulls out more of the red tones of the polish. The holo on this is full crazy in the sun.

The bottles are a huge 14mm and have lovely flat brushes than fan nicely making application an easy 3 stroke procedure.

To wrap up this post these polishes get 2 thumbs up! They are great, another amazing Aussie indie to add to the list!

Lilypad Lacquer's are AU$11 and are currently only available in Australia through her Etsy store.
