Sorry for the lack of posts last week, I just wasn't in the blogging mood, it's not that I don't have tons of content right now!
This is going to be a very picture heavy post, so you cant say you haven't been warned! I am going to show you 2 polishes from Teneil's first indie nail polish collection named Shades of Phoenix! I picked up Zeus and Hades. I want to get my paws on Poseidon as well as some point. A great first collection from Teneil, oh and there are some bonus macro shots at the end of this post!
Bottle shots first! Shades of Phoenix polishes are a generous 12ml in the standard square shaped bottle, contain 2 stainless steel ball bearings and are 3-Free.
Zeus is a gorgeous glitter topper with lavender matte glitter, matte white hex's in all sizes with a splash of mini silver hex's, snow flakes and purple iridescent glitter.
This was 2 coats over Illamasqua Wink with 1 coat SV. This reminds me so much of a Lynnderella type polish. Love it.
I couldn't resist matting this. 1 coat Essie Matte About You.
Next up is Hades. A base of black that almost appears blue with Black Diamonds, Blue Squares, purple micro-slices and a little Periwinkle on the side.
This is 2 coats Hades on it's own with 1 coat SV. I tried this polish out with a PVA base coat underneath. I will do another post about that later.
And now for those macro shots! I am in love.
