Review: Firmoo Glasses

Hi all!

Today I have something a little different to show you, sunglasses! I got given these amazingly rad sunglasses to review from Firmoo.com*!

More photos and the rest of the review after the jump!

A couple of weeks back I got an email from firmoo.com asking me if I would like to be apart of their blogger review program, and I thought "Well why not".

Normally I don't wear sunglasses because I always find that they are either way to big for my small face and fall off, make me look like a bug or are way to tight and give me headaches because I have to get junior glasses. Bad of me I know, since I live in a country that has like the harshest sun in the world, but I am trying to make a conscious effort this spring/summer as I really need to protect what I have, and this is being made so much easier by these awesome glasses! I really love them!

I went to the website and had a look through what was available. I based which ones I would get off the measurements I took of my other sunnies so I would get a pair that would be at least close to fitting my small face, luckily they had a fair few glasses in smaller sizes. I picked the glasses I wanted, sent off the email, and within a week I received the glasses! They came in a plastic case which included a lens cloth, a screwdriver on a keyring (good idea, but useless for this pair of glasses as the screwdriver doesn't fit the screws) and a soft case.

They're comfortable, sit well on my face and look great! I am unsure of the protection factor as that is not listed on the website, but they seem to provide a fair amount of protection on the top half of the lens. They feel relatively strong and don't seem to bend easily, which is nice so they feel like they will last a fair amount of time if looked after.

A little more about the company.
"Firmoo.com is the world's most popular online eyeglasses store. Years of expertise in optical industry enable Firmoo.com to offer varieties of prescription eyewear to the consuming public in high quality yet at extremely affordable prices.
Firmoo.com started conducting a survey concerning the efficiency of the optical industry in the United States and found that this industry is one of the most inefficient ones in the country. The immense markup by the retailers does not benefit the optical stores too much as the traffic to each store is very limited, yet the consumers need to pay hundreds of dollars for a pair of eyeglasses worth just a fraction of what consumers pay. This is why Firmoo.com has established the online optical store here bypassing most of the expenses incurred in the brick and mortar stores. Through the harmonious collaboration between our optical experts, direct manufacturers and our overseas laboratories, Firmoo.com offers our customers the cheapest prices at the fraction of what optical store charges.
The low prices in Firmoo.com never compromise the quality of eyewear while treating the quality and services to consumers as top priority. Firmoo.com fully understands that prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses are classified and regulated by FDA as Class I medical device, therefore multiple inspections of eyewear by our team are being executed before shipping to our customers to ensure 100% accuracy of prescriptions, enhancing the physical well-being of our customers.
More importantly, Firmoo.com is aware of the aesthetic functionality of eyeglasses. Though long being an integral part of the fashion industry, eyeglasses are never consumed in the same manner as other fashion items with the expensive price being the major hurdle. Firmoo.com makes the fashion-conscious consumers’ dream of creating a real eyewear wardrobe a reality." - http://www.firmoo.com/help-c-2.shtml

  1. Those glasses are gorgeous! And they definitely suit you. :) I have the same problem as you when it comes to glasses; they are always too big for my tiny face. But this year I finally found a pair of aviator glasses that were just perfect. :)
