Illamasqua 'Baptise' and Makeup Look

Hey all!

I am now coming live to you from www.lookwhatthebatsdraggedin.com! Today I am bringing you a double post in celebration. A swatch and a makeup look using Sugarpill eyeshadows and Illamasqua liquid liners.

More pictures after the jump!

As you may be able to tell, I'm going through a bit of a purple stage.

First off, the eyes! Tako (white) put all over the eye up to the brow bone. Buttercupcake (yellow) then blended all over the lid then Flamepoint (orange) was blended into the middle of the lid, then Love+ (red) was placed in the outer corner. Poison Plum was then taken and placed just above the crease and down along the waterline and blended out for a soft edge, and lastly Inglot pure pigment no #60 was applied on the outer edge to darken the purple. Lastly, Illamasqua Precision Ink in Glister (opalescent nude) was drawn on ina wing shape, then Illamasqua Precision Ink in Abyss (black) was put over the top, leaving a fine line of Glister showing. Put some eyeliner on your waterline and apply mascara and your done! Since I received my Sugarpill pallets I have not stopped using Poison Plum, it is such a pretty purple.

My nails are Illamasqua 'Baptise'. I love this polish, like really really love. The purrrfect purple. I changed my polish 3 times the other night before reaching for 'Baptise' and finally being happy.

I love this polish so much.

What is your favourite polish? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Beautiful makeup look! :) And that nail-polish is to die for! :O Such a pretty purple color! I read the other day that Illamasqua will release a new nail-polish soon called "Creator" which also looks amazing (black with silver sparkles). :3

    1. Yes! I know a couple of the MUA's that work at the Illamasqua counter here in Sydney and they showed me the new collection, it's all so pretty! The new nail polishes are gorgeous, as are the new lip colours and eyeshadow quads, guh! So much pretty!

  2. You will find me in a puddle over in the corner over gorgeous Baptiste. Even though I already have so many purples I think I could add Baptiste just because it is stunning. I will keep justifying it to myself somehow.
