Guinevere Dots

Hi all!

Just a quick mani to show you today. I tried a few ideas last night but unfortunately they didn't work out so I went with this, a quick dotting manicure using a-England 'Guinevere'.

More photos after the jump!

This mani was 2 easy coats of a-England 'Guinevere'. I love the formula on this polish, applies a tiny bit patchy on the first coat, but the second covers everything up nicely and dries to a gorgeous shine. You could wear it alone with no topcoat if you wanted. I picked this up during a-England's sale a few weeks back. Dots where done using OPI 'Alpine Snow'. I am never using 'Alpine Snow' for anything else other than nail art stuff like this. I first tried to do a black and white stripe mani using it as the base coat and after 3 horrible coats it still looked like crap. I took it straight off and started over. I used a bobby pin as my dotting tool, and as my tool to place the rhinestones and loose glitter for the accent nail. Sealed in place with a coat of Seche Vite.

It's funny, I seem to be going for more girly style manis which I'm not used to, but I am enjoying wearing them a lot. My make up changes from heavy black eyeshadow days to pretty yellow and purple looks but yet my clothing style is very dark and edgy/goth. Nothing matches :P

What are some girly looks that you like that might not match your style? Let me know in the comments.
